Award-winning Christian author Kelly Monroe Kullberg is the founder of The Veritas Forum, which she established while serving as a chaplain with the Harvard Graduate School Christian Fellowship. Kelly Kullberg’s book, Finding God at Harvard: Spiritual Journeys of Thinking Christians, received the Christian Booksellers Association (CBA) award for Book of the Year.

Although the CBA has effectively been replaced by an emerging organization called the Christian Retail Association (CRA), the Christian Book Awards live on, honoring the best in Christian publications since 1978. The awards cover several categories, including children’s books, Bibles, audiobooks, and Christian living.
Each year one book is chosen as the Christian Book of the Year, recognizing the best book or Bible for its literary merit and impact on the world. In 2020, the winner was Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy: Discovering the Grace of Lament by Mark Vroegop. The lead pastor of College Park Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Vroegop’s book explores the lost art of lamentation as a way to grapple with tough questions and issues raised by suffering and grief.
